Check Valve Solutions for the Mining Industry
This webinar will provide insights into key mining applications, including dewatering, slurry transport, tailings management, and concentrators and the critical role check valves play in system performance and longevity. The session will cover best practices for selecting and sizing check valves to prevent costly issues like water hammer and backflow, ensuring smoother operations and reduced maintenance.
- Delve into mining processes with an overview of what is mined and how different mining environments impact fluid control.
- Explore the role of check valves in dewatering, slurry transport, and preventing backflow.
- Learn best practices for sizing check valves correctly to ensure optimal valve performance in mining applications.
- Prevent water hammer with strategies for mitigating pressure surges with non-slam check valves.
- Discover how proper valve selection reduces maintenance and improves operational efficiency.
